From October 7 to 9, 2025, Gleisdorf will become the center for the energy transition: Mission Innovation Austria Week 2025 (MIA25) will bring together research, industry, politics and society at the Forum Kloster. For three days, the focus will be on the future of integrated energy systems.

Under the motto “Energy systems in transition – at the end or beginning of a new era?”, current developments, technologies and strategies for the energy transition will be presented. Particularly exciting: news from the six Austrian real-world laboratories – from WEIZplus to Murau and Waldviertel – which show how regional energy systems with 100% renewable sources can work.

In addition to keynotes, sessions and discussions, participants can also look forward to a Tech Expo with over 20 exhibitors, workshops and a wide range of networking opportunities.

Also looking ahead: In April 2026, the International Sustainable Energy Conference (ISEC 2026) will take place in Graz – an international platform for research, innovation and practical examples in the field of sustainable energy systems.
